The International Women’s Day celebration jointly organized by Vidiyal Society and the Vidiyal Women Development Federation was held at the community hall in Vaniputhur, Gobi Taluk. The event was presided over by Mrs. M. Maheswari, Director of Vidiyal Society, and the participants were welcomed by Ms. Nisha. During the program, Mrs. Maheswari spoke about strengthening the Vidiyal Women Development Federation and highlighted the importance of women’s education. The significance of International Women’s Day was also explained. Women from more than 20 villages participated in the event. Community leaders Jyothimani, Pappathi, Asirvatham, and Yogammal were honored with shawls for their social service. More than 150 women attended the celebration. The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Priyadarshini, and special gifts were distributed to all participants. விடியல் சொசைட்டி மற்றும் விடியல் மகளிர் மேம்பாட்டு கூட்டமைப்பு இணைந்து நடத்திய உலக மகளிர் தின விழா கோபி தாலுக்கா வணிபுத்தூரில் உள்ள சமுதாய கூடத்தில் சிறப்பாக கொண்டாடப்பட்டது. இந்த நிகழ்ச்சிக்கு விடியல் சொசைட்டி இயக்குநர் திருமதி மு. மஹேஸ்வரி அவர்கள் தலைமை தாங்கினார். இந்நிகழ்ச்சியில் கலந்து கொண்ட பெண்களை நிஷா அவர்கள் வரவேற்றார். தொடர்ந்து மகேஸ்வரி அவர்கள் விடியல் மகளிர் மேம்பாட்டு கூட்டமைப்பை வலுப்படுத்துவதின் முக்கியத்துவம் மற்றும் பெண்கள் கல்வியின் அவசியம் குறித்து பேசினார். மேலும் உலக மகளிர் தினம் ஏன், எதற்காக உருவானது என்பதையும் கூட்டத்தில் விளக்கப்பட்டது. 20க்கும் மேற்பட்ட கிராமங்களிலிருந்து பெண்கள் இதில் கலந்து கொண்டனர். சமூக சேவையில் சிறப்பாக பணியாற்றிய சமூகத் தலைவர்கள் ஜோதிமணி, பாப்பாத்தி, ஆசீர்வாதம் மற்றும் யோகம்மாள் ஆகியோருக்கு சால்வை அணிவித்து கவுரவிக்கப்பட்டது. சமூகத் தலைவர்கள் தங்களுடைய அனுபவங்களை மக்களுடன் பகிர்ந்து கொண்டனர். இந்நிகழ்ச்சியில் 150க்கும் மேற்பட்ட பெண்கள் கலந்து கொண்டு விழாவை சிறப்பித்தனர். இறுதியாக பிரியதர்ஷினி அவர்கள் நன்றியுரை வழங்கியதன் மூலம் கூட்டம் நிறைவுற்றது. கலந்து கொண்ட அனைவருக்கும் சிறப்பு பரிசுகள் வழங்கப்பட்டன.
