In Erode District, Sathyamangalam region, Vidiyal Society has been consistently working for the livelihood development of tribal communities and single women, as well as the educational progress of their children. Earlier, the organization had only about 18% of its documentation in place. With the dedicated support and guidance of the Dhwani Foundation, Vidiyal Society has now achieved 91% documentation completion. In recognition of this significant achievement, the founder of Vidiyal Society, Mrs. M. Maheswari, received an award of excellence for her leadership and commitment to transparency and organizational development.

23-08-2024 - At a prestigious awards ceremony held at Loyola College, Chennai, five dedicated members of the Vidiyal Society Community leader from Sathyamangalam were honored for their exceptional community work. The awardees included Ms. Aseerwadham, Mrs. Kasthuri, Mr. Murugan, Mrs. Matthammal, and Mrs. Saraswathi. These individuals were recognized for their significant contributions as community leaders. The event was attended by Ms. Maheshwari, Director of Vidiyal Society, along with field workers from the organization. A special highlight of the ceremony was the release of a success story video featuring Ms. Aseerwadham, celebrating her achievements. Additionally, a success storybook for the five honorees was unveiled. 12-06-2023 - An awareness camp was held on behalf of the Vidiyal Society on the abolition of child labor. It was emphasized that childhood should not be worked but should be educated. In this, Kavitha was made aware of the need for education as she was going to work due to her home situation.
