Vidiyal Society conducted a field-level assessment in KN Palayam village, located in the Sathyamangalam region of Erode District, to understand the basic needs of the community. The team interacted directly with village residents to gather insights on key issues such as livelihoods, access to drinking water, housing conditions, education, health, and government welfare schemes. Special attention was given to the concerns of women, children, and the elderly. The visit aimed to document ground-level realities and identify priority areas for intervention. The assessment was coordinated by Mr. Gobinath, Programme Coordinator, along with Ms. Mathammal, a community leader from the village. The findings from this visit will inform Vidiyal Society’s future planning and community development initiatives. This activity reflects Vidiyal Society’s ongoing commitment to participatory and need-based rural development.
