Heavy rainfall in Kampanur village, Erode district, caused severe flooding inside several houses, leaving the residents in distress. Household items were damaged, and drinking water facilities were affected as water entered the electric motor systems, making it difficult for people to access clean water. Representatives from the Vidiyal Society visited the affected area and discussed possible solutions with the villagers. The community requested the Village Administrative Officer (VAO) to take necessary measures to create proper water drainage channels and prevent further flooding. A formal petition was submitted to the VAO to ensure immediate action. Vidiyal Society continues to support the people of Kampanur by providing necessary assistance for their recovery and well-being. ஈரோடு மாவட்டம் கம்பனூர் கிராமத்தில் பெய்த கனமழையால் பல வீடுகளுக்குள் தண்ணீர் புகுந்து மக்கள் கடுமையாக பாதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளனர். இதனால் வீட்டுப் பொருட்கள் சேதமடைந்து, குடிநீர் வசதியும் பாதிக்கப்பட்டது. மின் மோட்டாரில் தண்ணீர் புகுந்ததால் மக்கள் குடிநீரை பயன்படுத்த முடியாமல் திணறி வருகின்றனர். இதனைப் பார்வையிட்ட விடியல் அமைப்பின் பிரதிநிதிகள், அக்கிராம மக்களுடன் இணைந்து உடனடி தீர்வுகள் குறித்து ஆலோசனை நடத்தினர். கிராம மக்கள் மழைநீர் பள்ளங்களில் தேங்கி நிற்காமல் வெளியேறும் வகையில் தடுப்புகள் அமைக்க வேண்டும் என கோரிக்கை விடுத்தனர். இதனை தொடர்ந்து கிராம நிர்வாக அலுவலர் (VAO) அவர்களிடம் பள்ளங்களில் தண்ணீர் செல்லும் வழி ஏற்படுத்தி தேவையான நடவடிக்கைகளை மேற்கொள்ளுமாறு அதிகாரப்பூர்வமாக மனு வழங்கப்பட்டது. மக்கள் நலனுக்காக விடியல் அமைப்பு தொடர்ந்தும் அக்கிராமத்தில் தேவையான ஆதரவுகளை வழங்கி வருகிறது.
