A monthly meeting was conducted in Kasikkadu village, Sathyamangalam Taluk, Erode District, in which a total of 20 community leaders participated. The meeting was coordinated by CF Cristober, who explained in detail how the community leaders should actively participate in the upcoming Gram Sabha meeting. He also created awareness about the “Anbukaarangal Scheme,” highlighting its purpose and benefits. Through this session, the leaders understood the importance of the scheme and its relevance to the community. The basic needs of the villagers, such as roads, drinking water, and housing, were discussed in detail. The leaders were trained to identify these needs correctly and to recognize eligible individuals for government schemes. The names of these beneficiaries, their required documents, and specific requests were carefully recorded during the meeting. Clear guidance was provided on how to fill out the application forms, along with step-by-step instructions on the submission process in the Gram Sabha. The procedures for approaching officials and ensuring follow-up were also explained. As a result, the community leaders gained the confidence to represent the needs of the villagers effectively. By the end of the meeting, everyone pledged to actively participate in the upcoming Gram Sabha with full involvement and commitment. ஈரோடு மாவட்டம் சத்தியமங்கலம் தாலுக்கா காசிக்காடு கிராமத்தில் மாதாந்திர கூட்டம் நடைபெற்றது. இந்தக் கூட்டத்தில் மொத்தம் 20 சமூகத் தலைவர்கள் பங்கேற்றனர். கூட்டத்தை CF கிறிஸ்டோபர் ஒருங்கிணைத்தார். அவர் வரவிருக்கும் கிராம சபைக் கூட்டத்தில் எவ்வாறு பங்கேற்பது என்பதை சமூகத் தலைவர்களுக்கு விரிவாக விளக்கினார். அதோடு, “அன்புக்காரங்கள் திட்டம்” பற்றிய விழிப்புணர்வையும் ஏற்படுத்தினார். இந்த அமர்வின் மூலம் சமூகத் தலைவர்கள் திட்டத்தின் முக்கியத்துவத்தையும் அதன் பயன்களையும் புரிந்துகொண்டனர். மேலும் கிராம மக்கள் சந்தித்துக் கொண்டிருக்கும் அடிப்படைத் தேவைகள், சாலை, குடிநீர், வீடு போன்ற பிரச்சினைகள் குறித்து விவாதிக்கப்பட்டது. அந்த தேவைகளை சரியாக அடையாளம் காணும் திறனை அவர்கள் பெற்றனர். தகுதியான நபர்களை அடையாளம் காண்பது எப்படி என்பதைப் பற்றியும் பயிற்சி அளிக்கப்பட்டது. பயிற்சியின் போது அந்த நபர்களின் பெயர்கள், தேவையான ஆவணங்கள், அவர்களுக்கான கோரிக்கைகள் போன்றவை பதிவு செய்யப்பட்டது. விண்ணப்பங்களை எவ்வாறு பூர்த்தி செய்ய வேண்டும் என்பதற்கான வழிகாட்டுதலும் வழங்கப்பட்டது. கிராம சபையில் விண்ணப்பங்களை எவ்வாறு சமர்ப்பிக்க வேண்டும் என்பதற்கான நடைமுறைகள் தெளிவுபடுத்தப்பட்டன. அதிகாரிகளுடன் தொடர்பு கொள்ளும் முறைகளும் எடுத்துரைக்கப்பட்டது. இதனால் சமூகத் தலைவர்கள் கிராம மக்களின் தேவைகளை முன்வைக்கும் தன்னம்பிக்கையை பெற்றனர். கூட்டத்தின் முடிவில் அனைவரும் கிராம சபையில் ஆர்வத்துடன் பங்கேற்க உறுதியளித்தனர்.
