A training session on Climate Change and Mitigation Measures under the theme Ensuring Social Protection was held at Vidiyal Society’s Sathyamangalam office. The session was chaired by Vidiyal Society Director M. Maheswari. Mr. Gopinath delivered the welcome address. Director Maheswari provided detailed explanations about climate change. About 25 participants from the villages of Kampanur, Kongarpalayam, Govilur, and Thoppur attended the training. Mr. Christopher Ed explained the mitigation measures. Mr. Gopinath concluded the session with a vote of thanks. Lunch was served during the event. The training session took place from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. All participants expressed that it was a new and enriching experience for them. விடியல் சொசைட்டி சத்தியமங்கலம் அலுவலகத்தில் Ensuring Social Protection என்ற தலைப்பில் காலநிலை மாற்றம் மற்றும் அதனை தடுக்கும் முறைகள் குறித்த பயிற்சி கூட்டம் நடைபெற்றது. இக்கூட்டத்தை விடியல் சொசைட்டி இயக்குனர் M. மகேஸ்வரி அவர்கள் தலைமை தாங்கினார். திரு கோபிநாத் வரவேற்புரை கூறினார். இயக்குனர் மகேஸ்வரி அவர்கள் காலநிலை மாற்றம் பற்றிய விளக்கங்களை வழங்கினார். கூட்டத்தில் கம்பனுர், கொங்கர்பாளையம், கோவிலூர், தோப்பூர் ஆகிய கிராமங்களில் இருந்து சுமார் 25 நபர்கள் கலந்து கொண்டனர். தடுக்கும் முறைகள் குறித்த விளக்கத்தை கிறிஸ்டோபர் ஏடு வழங்கினார். திரு கோபிநாத் கூட்டத்தை நினைவூட்டி நன்றியுரையுடன் முடித்தார். இந்நிகழ்வில் மத்திய உணவு வழங்கப்பட்டது. காலை 10 மணிமுதல் மாலை 4 மணி வரை பயிற்சி கூட்டம் நடைபெற்றது. கூட்டத்தில் கலந்து கொண்ட அனைவரும் புதுவிதமான அனுபவமாக இருந்தது என மகிழ்ச்சியடைந்தனர்.
