A special training program on climate change and preventive measures was conducted for women and college students at the Vidiyal Society office. The session explained in detail the causes of climate change and its social and environmental impacts. The effects on agriculture, drinking water, health, and livelihoods were highlighted. Preventive actions such as reducing plastic usage, tree planting, and rainwater harvesting were strongly emphasized. Participants were also guided on protecting natural resources, promoting renewable energy, and spreading awareness within their communities. Women and students actively shared their experiences and clarified their doubts during the session. All participants expressed their commitment to carry this knowledge to their families and villages. More than 40 women and students attended and benefitted from the program.
