Vidiyal Society, founded in 2014, runs Evening Study Centers in remote and rural villages of Sathyamangalam Taluk, Erode District. These centers provide a safe and supportive space for children to continue their education after school hours. The program focuses on reducing school dropouts, improving academic performance, and encouraging holistic development among children. Trained community facilitators guide the students in subjects, life skills, and extracurricular activities. Many children from marginalized families benefit through regular study support and mentorship. Vidiyal Society Evening Centers have already created a positive impact in more than 40 villages. The centers also serve as a platform for awareness on health, hygiene, and child rights. The initiative is led under the guidance of Vidiyal Society Director Mrs. M. Maheswari, who ensures quality and consistency. With limited resources, these centers continue to function with strong community participation.
