Vinobanagar is a village located in Gobi Taluk, Erode District, and is considered educationally backward. Many students in the village discontinue their studies after Class 10 and begin working, showing a general lack of focus on education. To address this concern, CF Mr. Christopher, with the support of ESP-trained Vidiyal community leader Ms. Chandral, conducted an awareness session highlighting the importance of continuing education. He explained the value of higher education and discussed the various available academic options, nearby colleges, hostel facilities, and transportation arrangements. During the discussion, both students and parents gained clarity on topics they were previously unaware of, and expressed happiness in learning about new opportunities and support systems.
