30-01-2025 - More than 300 people from Kambanur ST Colony, Vinobanagar, and Kongarpalayam villages gathered today at the Gobi Taluk office to protest against the installation of a private water pipeline that could lead to water shortages. Vidiyal CL and CCFF members, including Sarasal Rangan and Sumathi, participated in the protest. The residents of these three villages united to oppose the diversion of water from the Gunderipallam dam for private use. Notably, Vidiyal community leader Sarasal Rangan, Sumathi, and Periyasamy were present at the demonstration.
